Plastertek have been involved in numerous restoration projects within listed buildings including churches, public buildings and theatres.  We have established an excellent reputation over the last 25 years for executing technical expertise and applying it with exemplary skill and care. 

Restoration and Conservation experts; we will restore and repair your period features using the traditional methods and materials employed for generations.  Plasterwork that requires attention often including those that may be in poor condition or no longer exist, our survey team can advise on repairs or whether replacement is necessary. 

New plaster mouldings can be produced to match existing, modern techniques as well as the traditional methods are used to bring the works back to their former splendour. 

Glass Reinforced Polymer – GRP

We provide exterior cornices, columns, pilasters, porticos and door surrounds.  

These are typically manufactured in white. 

Purpose made mouldings can be manufactured to suit any shape size texture or colour. 

Glass Reinforced Gypsum – GRG

Plastertek have been involved on numerous projects involving GRG including retail units shopping malls commercial offices and hotels. 

Typically the construction of GRG allows it to be manufactured thinner enabling larger sections to be made. 

Numerous polymers can be added to give varying degrees of hardness. 

Typical applications for GRG are column casings bulkheads and lighting troughs, also commonly used in high humidity areas like swimming pools. 

Glass Reinforced Cement – GRC

This cement based product is ideally suited for external use. Casts can be manufactured with a hard cement face ready for decoration or with a re-constituted stone face to give the effect of natural stone. 

Cornices

A range of over 70 stock cornices ranging from simple coves to cornices with enriched mouldings used throughout the classical design periods.

We have a comprehensive range of centrepieces that will complement any room or setting.

Arches

Archways can be made in numerous styles from semi-circular to elliptical, there are many alternatives for the archivolt mouldings from a simple staff beaded mould to an architrave moulded surround, with various keystones for the centre, enabling a vast choice of alternative design and individuality.

The arches can spring from pilasters, columns or corbel supports.

Mouldings

Mouldings can be applied to either ceilings or walls. We have a vast selection of mouldings that when applied in the correct environment will add that classic look to any room.

Dry Lining

Plastertek specialise in the supply and installation of dry-lining and drywall partition solutions, using metal studwork and plasterboard systems from the leading manufacturers, to deliver solutions for a range of demanding situations including acoustic, climatic and loading conditions.

Suspended Ceilings Systems

Plastertek also specialise in the supply and installation of both plasterboard and specialist suspended ceiling systems, covering a wide range of market sectors including commercial, residential and healthcare projects.
